Make Weaning Fun

Did you know that Eco Rascals was founded by two mums? We’re Kristina and Celeidh, and came together with a mutual desire to keep the majority of the food we lovingly prepare for our children off the floor! Sound familiar? By getting together we not only designed our stylish range of children’s tableware products but also learnt a thing or two about weaning. The one thing that we strive to do is make mealtimes fun. Play games, share songs and explore the food that’s being eaten together. If your baby’s plate of food looks adorable it will help to create that excitement over food that makes weaning easier.

Be a Positive Parent

No matter what type of weaning you’ve opted for ie baby-led weaning or parent-led weaning make each mealtime positive. If your little one doesn’t immediately adapt to mealtimes ensure you have plenty of healthy snacks to offer them. Smile, don’t get cross, even if there is a fair amount of mess and embrace the moments that only happen when your children are small.
