Make Reindeer Bait with your little ones!

This Christmas Eve, make sure Santa stops at your house with this tasty recipe for ‘Reindeer Bait’. Fun for the whole family to make, this yummy mix of sweets and cereals is a great activity for the kids, and an even better snack!

Rudolph is tired of carrots and water – this year, he wants something a little sweeter…

Why not try our deliciously fun ‘Reindeer Bait’ recipe?

What you’ll need:

150g Shredded wheat
150g Mini-pretzels
100g Red & Green M&Ms
150g Mini marshmallows
Sprinkles
500g White chocolate (melted)

How to make your Reindeer Bait:

In a bowl, combine shredded wheat, mini-pretzels, M&M’s and mini marshmallows to create your ‘bait’ mix. Spread your mixture evenly over a sheet of greaseproof paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt your white chocolate for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. Once your chocolate is melted, carefully pour it over your reindeer bait.

Add your sprinkles on top of the chocolate, and then mix it all together. Warning – this part will get messy!

When your mixture is thoroughly coated in white chocolate and sprinkles, place it in the fridge for one hour. Once it’s set, chunks of the mixture should be stuck together.

Take it out and tear it off into smaller pieces, then serve in a bowl for you and your little ones to enjoy! But be quick, or else the reindeer will eat it first!
