Ingredients

  • 2 slices multi-grain bread
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 1 black olive
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 small tangerine
  • 1 cheese string
  • 2 pretzel sticks

Directions

Step 1

Using a sharp knife, cut out a ghost shape in one of the bread slices. You can use this ghost template or freehand.

Step 2

On the other side of bread, butter and place a layer of cheese.

Step 3

Using a small knife, cut out the shape of the eyes and open mouth from the black olive.

Step 4

If you have halloween cutters, now is the time to look for the pumpkin and skull to make spooky vegetable shapes. If not, use a pairing knife and straw/tooth pick to recreate the shapes.

Step 5

Half your cheese string and start peeling the cheese away to create a broomstick base. On the other side, pop the pretzel stick inside the cheese to create a broomstick.

Step 6

Lastly, pop a little something green into your peeled tangerine and place it into a compartment of the eco rascals lunchbox.

This Halloween, why not make lunchtime a little more spooktacular? 🎃 Packing a fun, themed lunchbox is a great way to incorporate healthy treats alongside their everyday favourites!

Here’s how you can give your little one a spooky surprise, while keeping it happy and healthy! 👇

1️⃣ Pumpkin Carrot Shapes 🥕: Carrots are naturally sweet and crunchy! Slice them into mini pumpkin shapes and pack them with a delicious dip for a fun twist on veggies.

2️⃣ Cucumber Skulls 🥒: Turn cucumbers into playful skull shapes (super easy with a small knife) and pop them in with their sandwich or wrap for an extra spooky touch.

3️⃣ Witch's Cheesy Broomstick: Take half a cheese string and gently peel the bottom to create a broom-like fringe. Insert a pretzel stick at the top for the broom handle!

4️⃣ Fruity Graveyard 🥬🍌: Grab a pairing knife and cut some melon up in the shape of tombstones. Add edible eyes to them.

5️⃣ Apple Fangs 🍏: Apple slices with Wow-butter or yoghurt and slivered almond “fangs” make the perfect creepy snack, without the sugar overload.

6️⃣ Boiled Egg Eyeballs 🥚: Turn boiled eggs into spooky eyeballs by adding a slice of black olive in the center as the "pupil." It’s a protein-packed snack with a creepy twist!

Make your little one’s packed lunch extra exciting this Halloween while sneaking in those nutritious goodies. It’s all about turning regular food into something spooky and fun! 🎃👻
